Brenntag offers commodities such as urea, potassium chloride-sulfate and nitrate, phosphates, calcium and magnesium salts for the efficient cultivation of bananas, rice, potatoes, cotton, flowers and sugar cane.

Brenntag offers some industrial chemicals such as urea, sulphate, nitrate, and potassium chloride, phosphates, calcium salt and magnesium which are used for the efficient cultivation of bananas, rice, potatos, cotton, flowers, and sugar cane. Multinational companies, such as Dole and Chiquita, apply these high quality fertilizers. A 25 people team—which also includes a team of about 20 agricultural engineers—offers the liquid fertilizer already licensed by Agrofeed which is applied through sophisticated dosing systems in accordance to nutritional requisites and the development stages of each cultivation.

The Agricultural Division has been in the market for 15 years, developing tailored liquid fertilizing formulas which are balanced under quality and efficiency criteria to supply our customer requisites for the production of flowers, cane, bananas, and citrics, among others, and under our licensed AGROFEED’s trademark. As to flowers, we count on a complete post-harvest line, FLORISSIMA. Thus, we complete our portfolio with a large variety of single or traditional fertilizers. |

It is a group of concentrated balanced liquid fertilizers used for irrigation systems (ferti-irrigation), which provides the cultivation with major (N, P, K, Ca, Mg, S) and minor (Mn, Zn, Cu, Fe, B, Mo) nutrients that are necessary for the optimum development and production of Flowers, Sugar Cane, Bananas, Citrics, and others.

As to Ecuador, this characterization is referred to the sale of fertilizers as granular solids or hydro soluble dusts. Our products are sold under a single or blended format. Whenever possible, all blends are tailored to the customer’s needs. It mainly depends upon the amount of kilograms needed by the cultivation. In cases of small amounts, the blend is tailored to one of the standard available formulas in the company.

It is a product based on phosphorus in the form of phosphite ion from phosphorous acid that—besides acting as a nutrient—stimulates the growth and self-defense of plants. It can be applied through the whole cultivation cycle by spray or drip irrigation.
