CASA 2005 Award

On March 16th 2005, Holanda Venezuela was given the CASA 2005 Award.  This award is the result of the good performance of the CASA management as well as achieving one million non-accident working hours.

We feel very proud of this award due to the fact that in 2003, we were recognized with only an honorable mention.  We will continue with the hard work in hopes of obtaining future awards.

The award celebration took place in the Valencia Installations.  All the employees attended the ceremony as well as personnel from the offices of Caracas, Maracaibo, El Tigre, and Puerto Ordaz.

On behalf of Brenntag, the following persons attended:

• Mr. Gustavo Vallarino, Local Manager of Andino Norte

• Mr. Alejandro Valenzuela, Local Manager of O&G

• Mr. Damian Rendón, Local Manager of O&G

• Mr. Fernando Acosta, Market Manager of O&G

Representatives of our Colgate and Mavesa customers, and suppliers such as DuPont, Copequim Vopak, Transporte Alca, Transliquid and Travenca also joined the celebration.

Mr. Peter Starrtjes addressed some words to those attending the ceremony, highlighting the good management of the company and its achievement.

The CASA that was awarded was given to Mr. Gustavo Vallarino and Mr. Erik Visser, our Commercial Director, who congratulated all the employers for their great achievement.

During the celebration, we all enjoyed the folk dances from different areas of the countries as well as the typical food.

To conclude the evening's events, all those attending the celebration left their hand prints on a wall painting called "Equipo CASA Somos Todos" ("We All Are The CASA Team"), which symbolizes the commitment of team work.
