Brenntag named distributor of Ecopetrol's Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) in Colombia

Brenntag Colombia has been named distributor of Ecopetrol's Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) in Colombia. This is a key milestone in Brenntag Latin America's Plastics IBU Growth Strategy, and a solid foundation for significant growth in the near future, with imported Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) and High Density Polyethylene (HDPE). Colombia’s market for all Polyethylene will exceed 300.000 metric tons in 2010, with a value of approximately US$ 450 million.
