ExxonMobil names Brenntag as distributor for Medicinal White Oils

Effective April 01, 2006 ExxonMobil Lubricants & Specialties Europe has appointed Brenntag, global leader in the chemical distribution market as exclusive distributor for Medicinal White Oils in Latin America. Brenntag Latin America, Inc. (Houston, Texas) will handle the distribution of ExxonMobil branded Medicinal White Oils, using own extensive facilities, equipment and personnel.

 

“With this appointment we strengthen our leading position in the major markets in Latin America such as Brazil, Argentina and Mexico and establish our business in promising new areas like Suriname, Guadalupe, Martinique and Guyana. Furthermore Medicinal White Oils mean an important addition to our portfolio of products for the personal care and pharma market,” states Peter Staartjes, President  Brenntag Latin America, Inc.

With 1,035 employees and 49 locations all across Latin America, Brenntag meets the demands of ExxonMobil: “We are confident that Brenntag  will offer an outstanding service to the business of our partners. We have evaluated our supply chain capabilities and found out the Medicinal White Oil business with ExxonMobil will be better served and supplied by a specialized and dedicated distributor such as Brenntag with its extensive network of warehouses across the Americas,” said Benoit de Saint Sernin, Global White Oils Coordinator at ExxonMobil.
