Quality, Safety & Environment

CASA stands for Calidad (quality), Seguridad (safety) & Ambiente (environment). It also means HOUSE. It is well known that working with chemical products requires a special care for the safety of the personnel, customers, suppliers and the general community, as well as the overall environment. In this respect, BRENNTAG Latin America has developed a unique management system that integrates the quality, safety & health and environmental dimensions of chemical distribution, ensuring excellence in customer satisfaction together with strict safety and environmental standards.

 

The CASA system is certifiable by the norms ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001, as well as compliant with the Responsible Care® Distribution code, and the local regulations. However, certification in itself is not the goal of CASA management. We consider it to be a consequence of doing things right, and even if under certain conditions some of our processes were considered to be certifiable, we have not supported this certification until excellence in CASA performance has been fully reached.
